This post is going to be full of shouts out to some fabulous women and a very cool family!   Well at least 2 shouts out to some fabulous women and one very cool family.  The first goes to the fabulous Brandy Anderson of Fresh Sugar Photography.  Thanks to Brandy’s introduction I had a session with a wonderful family today.  You should definitely be checking out Brandy’s work if you are in the Calgary area….she rocks!

Today’s family was fabulous! (am I overusing the word fabulous today??)  The girls welcomed me right in and took me on a tour of the toy room…they have the most awesome giant giraffe!  It is always special to see a Dad interacting with his daughter and I was lucky enough to see that times three today!  My final shout out goes to the fantastic Mom…stunning and so creative…she runs her own business called Girl Gotch… if you have little girls you will be so happy you checked out her website.

This is what happens at our house when we find a fabulous dress and have a 20 minutes of free time!  I can’t wait to use this dress again!  I can’t believe my 14 year old and I agreed on a dress!  All in all a fun evening

I have to save something for the album  Don’t you just love how confidence is coming off her in waves.  This session was so much fun and although I can’t give away too much I can say she was up for anything!  We had an adventurous session that involved lots of trial and error and resulted in some AWESOME captures!

Don’t you love when your candy compliments your outfit?

We have pretty much the easiest houseguest of all time.  She is fun, polite and great company for my daughter.  Most important she is willing to be in front of the camera…a necessity when visiting my place.  Last week was busy with trips to the beach, Canada’s Wonderland, the park and swimming!  This week we are a little more laid back with some movies, swimming and video games.  The added bonus is I have company on my morning walk!!   Todays plan was a walk , the park and some tree climbing.  By the time we walked to the park we were HOT!  So we settled for taking some pictures in the shade before we headed home for freezies!

Took the weekend off to go camping!  A few snaps of one of my favourite subjects…my daughter!
